Tidy Tiles: thinking two moves ahead

Tidy Tiles looks like a mindless match game until the later boards, where a wrong order leaves you staring at a wall of blocked tiles. The fix is planning, not speed.

Always clear the tiles that are blocking others first, even if a tempting match sits right in front of you. Freeing up buried pieces keeps your options open, and running out of moves usually comes from greedy early matches.

The stacking mechanic is the whole game. Treat each stack like a small puzzle: which tile do I need to remove to reach the one underneath? Reading a board before your first tap saves a lot of resets.

On the daily boards I take a moment to scan the full layout before doing anything. Ten seconds of planning beats a minute of undoing mistakes.

It's the ideal small-session game, but a little forethought turns it from luck into skill.
