Adventure
Hollow Pines
★★★★☆ 4.2
Hollow Pines is a slow-burn adventure where you wander a quiet town, collect odd items, and piece together what happened to the people who used to live there. The puzzles lean on observation rather than moon logic, which I hugely appreciated.
Tapping to move and examine is the whole interface, and the hint system is gentle without solving things for you. Getting stuck usually means I missed a detail in a scene rather than needing an obscure combination, so backtracking felt fair.
The atmosphere carries it. Soft music, hand-painted backgrounds, and a story that unfolds in fragments kept me playing past bedtime. It's short, but it lingers.
